BDYSI Interactive Application Module
This instrument collects a range of information from consenting and voluntary applicants. This information includes biodata, family information, education, work experience, skills, talents, and an overall individual positive disposition rating.
The latter, or the positive disposition rating, aims to identify candidates with sound psychosocial functioning who can use the assistance provided for self-improvement.
The collected information from successful applicants will be kept for the duration necessary to achieve the stated goals related to the assistance received, and for the additional period required to conduct program evaluation.
The Department may request additional information, such as school transcripts, among other information, for verification purposes.
The Department of Youth Services shall ensure that all applicants’ information is safeguarded, destroyed, and used only for the purposes intended under the scope of the Bright Minds Assistance Program and in accordance with standard ethical handling of peoples’ personal information in social welfare programs.
